More than jeans but less than ties. Unless you bring your fancy jeans. The real question here is: what don't you mind getting BBQ sauce on? 



Where should I stay?

​We've reserved a block of rooms at On the Ave Hotel, located at 77th and Broadway, which is a quick train ride to the party and walking distance to brunch.



If On the Ave isn't quite your style, Columbia has a list of hotels they recommend here, which will keep you on the west side and on the right subway line for all events.



For those among us on a grad student or recently-out-of-grad-school budget, you may want to look into Hostelling International, located near our apartment and a quick train ride from the party.

If you choose to stay in one of the many other hotels New York has to offer, keep in mind that the party is taking place in the Upper West Side. We're happy to help you pick a convenient neighborhood to stay in--just send us an email!



Why are you having a party so far uptown?

​Welcome to our neighborhood, guys. This is our one chance to get everyone we know out of Brooklyn (or out to New York in the first place!).



Are you really changing your last name to Duanestein?

Only half of the couple voted for it, so, sadly, no. It would also be a hassle to change our names back when it stopped being funny (in about 2 months).
